Hi all,

Can someone let me know what code 034 is? Just done paperclip test on my dads 2.0ltr P reg miggy and thats what its flashed out at me.

Sure it's not 0340... Camshaft sensor, which is very common on a 2.0.

Thanks for that. Well the eml light wasn't on originally but I did accidently touch the positive lead, on the back of the alternator, with the inlet manifold. Well wasn't entirley my fault as the last person that had taken the alternator off lost the mounting bracket bolts so had to hold the alternator whilst putting the bolt back in. Hopefully haven't caused to much damage none hopefully.
