grove discs ????

  right then got talking to a mate and he has got grooved discs for his subaru !!
   the question is which way would u fit them
 1) looking at the top would the grove bend to the left or right and the passenger side
 and vise versa on the other side ???
  what are your theorys ??  :y

 can not put pic up yet  but will do if helps

in my experience they are illistrated left and right, but vx brakes are god enough really,  :-?

  he said theres no marking on them at all , he got told that theres no preference to which way they go on !

i was told that there isnt a preference to the direction really, the grooves are to cool the brake pads down due to heavy braking.
The drilled mod is to keep the discs cool.
I had a full set on my old v6 vectra.
Didn't really make much differnce, but they looked the biz

i thought grooves were for the brake pad dust and the gasses to help maintain braking force and efficiency that way

if you look on e bay theres a few sellers who have illustrations showing which side is which ...its easier to look than it is to explain  ::)

well i'd have thought the swirl of the groove was going from the inside to the outside if you spin it the direction the wheels turning (it wouldnt be much good if all the dust and gasses were going into the centre of the wheel- if you notice the vents for the twin vented discs are on the outside ;)
