that stupid black plastic...

on the very bottom front of the front bumper... can it be taken off :P
i quite fancy seeing how it'd look also... are there some lugs that id need to hack saw and sand off?

i looked at it today and it was like... meh that would probably look soo much better without it (i noticed the bumper drops lower down where the wheels are and then its higher up in a nice ark in the middle

there are some screws that hold it on from the top, then it pulls off inwards toward engine, you can but try

screws?
on my prefacelift there were no screws, just pull it off towards engine  :-/

thers is supposed to be a screw in each corner, in all the ones Ive had there has been

Hmmm, you may also find you inrease the drag of the car and your fuel consumption may rise.

The splitter's there in order to try and direct air to the rads region.

Taking it off won't really mane that much of a different to drag Cd values per se. as the rads are mounted so far forwards.

If we were going to go down that road, you may as well look at spats in front of the wheels to divert airflow and also a flat engine bay floor.
even then, unless you can make the car completely flat underneath it's all a bit academic on a road car unless you're a trackday fiend.

If you could get a flat engine bay floor which also projects forward of the bumper like chin spoiler then that'll help with generating downforce at the front.
