Paint
« on: 26 January 2009, 14:56:52 »

How much (roughly) is a pot of Z147? Do they come in different quantities?

Also, where would I get it from? Just called our dealer and they can 'only do it in spray cans'. I want a massive pot full!

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

You need to find your local car paint factor, Vauxhall dealers don't sell paint, apart from spray cans, which if you want a decent finish are useless.

Most panels and bumpers. Mainly bumpers after I put some facelift onto my pre facelift. Got them cheap because they had a few scratches so I'll be sanding and filling where necessary. Then they'll need painting.

And I want to do something with a few tiny rust spots as well so thought it would be easier to spray the whole thing than try to blend in.
