Did you fit two dowty washers one each side of the coolant bridge on each side?

No, the washers provided by vauxhall were not dowty washers they were just plain copper washers like what you get on a standard union.

Im beginning to wonder if they supplied me the correct ones. :-?

Wrong ones, they should be dowty washers.....metal with a rubber insert

Thats what I found when I removed the old ones but as it was sunday and our bloody vx dealer had sold me the others they had to do as the original dowtys were shot.

Will have to order some correct ones from vx
