What sort of noises do you get from the tensioner/waterpump ect?

There is a bit of a squeak and I am not sure if it is normal, due to the cold or something starting to fail.

Take the Auxiliary belt off and see if the noise stops ;)

some auxiliary belt tensioners are very prone to fault..

I changed 2 of them within 2 months before :-?

 flip the seal out and grease the bearing, if no good the pulley can be bought from vx on its own without the tensioner, just undo the 15 mill nut on the arm, unless its lost tension of course.
