on prefacelifts, 1 sensor on each inboard pad at front.  Sensors are seperate item from pad - just clip in to pad.

yes, the sensors have worn through due to either low pads (down to last 1/3rd or so) or badly lipped disc.  If the disc, change disc/pads/sensors.  If just the pads, change pads and sensors.

on prefacelifts, 1 sensor on each inboard pad at front.

Is it different on facelifts then ? While WIM had the front wheels off this week I had a good poke around - There was a cable on both the n/s and o/s connected to one of the pads, so I assumed sensors on both sides ?

Just useful to know as they are getting low and will need to replace disks too when the pads are changed so when i pick up all the parts want to make sure I get the right number of sensors !

On prefacelifts, 1 sensor on each inboard pad.  So 2 sensors.  From 2001, only 1 sensor fitted.
