Frontera/ Monterey/ Trooper has a completely different engine by the look of it... I'm not sure if even the Vectra-B got anything bigger than the 2.6.

Of course Vectra-C and Signum got the Z32 engine, which a member on here is converting to RWD use, but if like me you're after putting a 3.2 in your car, it's cheaper to hold out for one from a RWD application...

I think so, and maybe a bit more emissions gubbins, IIRC it's a few bhp down on the Omega, but I could be wrong.

If you look further afield from VX (Ellesmere port produced the engine for the GM family of products where required) you'll find it in cars such as the the Saturn and the Cadillac CTS.

Y32SE was in Omega
Z32SE was in Vectra C and Signum.

Y and Z refer to Euro 3 and Euro 4 Emissions compliance.

Differences are inlets, exhaust manifolds, sumps, oil pickup pipe, dipstick, ancillaries, injectors...

I'm currently converting a Z32 to use in my Omega.
