Lots of Codes
« on: 25 February 2009, 14:43:09 »

Ok just been out to the shops and on starting the car i got the car and spanner light up   .. found the camshaft sensor code which is fair enough as i'll replace it with Vx sensor ..... what did worry me though was some pending codes which went away after starting but this one worried me  :
P0700   MIL request from Transmission Control (TC) Module

Is this just cause of the cam sensor    :-/

The Cam sensor often pops the g/box code up as well. Change the cam sensor (if you got a 0340, is difinately toast, and may be a bugger to start), then gear out engine ecu codes and gearbox ecu codes (if you have the scanner I think you have, that will talk to gearbox)

It has been taking slightly longer to start lately so hopefully the cam sensor will fix it .  I'll clear out codes tonight at work .
