Bonnet Catch
« on: 25 February 2009, 17:45:55 »

Hi, Has anyone got any tips on how to open the bonnet when the catch isn't working?? It feels like the lever is just stretching the cable, and doesn't pop the bonnet!! >:(

Cheers

Have an assistant to hold the release cable handle in it's fully 'open' position, and try lifting the bonnet at the same time.

Before trying other tip above, I'd push DOWN on bonnet, ask assistant to then pull and hold lever, then you lift bonnet.

Adjust cable when its open, so have 8mm spanner handy.
