Paper clip test results help
« on: 01 March 2009, 14:56:12 »

Hi all decided to try the old paper clip test on my tractor today and got fault 34 which is fuel injector values out of range. Great that it works but what does this mean? is it one of those annoying codes that could mean a thousand things?

Cheers in advance for your opinions!

Just checked the fault codes and 34 is actually injector timing out of range not values, but still no clearer what could be wrong. :( car runs ok a bit down on fuel consumption and the usual tractor noise from the engine.

Be patient, my young padowan learner....and constantly replying to your own posts is actually against forum rules.

either needle sensor injector is damaged, or the FIP timing is out

Hello again The boy! you are talking to a diesel novice here what is the needle sensor injector? I am guessing the FIP is the diesel pump timing can check that easily enough.  :y

Look at injector 4, notice a wire coming off it? Check for damage.
