2001 3.0 auto engine Tickover

Just wondered what the tickover should be at idle. Mine is bout 500/600 just seems a bit low as it sounds a wee bit lumpy.

Sounds about right. My old 2.5 used to smooth out with the ac on. Doesnt affect the 3.2 though which is not as smooth at tick over

Ta for that i just put the a/c on and ur right sounds much smoother thought somethibg was wrong with it

Do you tend to run with "ECO" selected?

not really used it much as weather not be good enough but when its on i tend to put it on 22 and leave it there
