Auto Box
« on: 22 April 2009, 14:12:04 »

When using the "S" button the auto box doesn't hold onto the lower gear for long at all ... much less than in the past

Also when cold - when I put it into "D" it takes  a  few seconds to pull ...is this low oil ?... or something more sinster...anyone had similar?

could well be low on atf, check the level in the box by taking out the sump filler bolt whilst the engine is running, if nothing runs out then it needs a top up, mind you the g/box from cold can be a bit lazy anyway ;)

I topped up my autobox yesterday and that seemed to sort the slow
engagement of drive. But its still not that quick and never has been.
Keep your right foot pressed to sort the other problem. :y
