Sticky central locking ?

Hi all , just noticed the front passenger door is staying open when central locking is used to close the car , re do it and it works immediattly ? leave for 5 mins and sticks again but then closes as it should , any ideas please .

Cheapest and easiest port of call first. Pop the door card off and use a little penetrating oil around the lock mech. Operate a few times to work it in. If not better, try looking at the servo, sometimes they can get a bit tired with old age, but a little oil can sometimes ease these aswell. If knackered cheap enough from scrappy, or one of the fine fellows on here! :y :y
