manual box conversion

Does anyone know if the link on here to do a manual conversion covers the 3.2 facelift.Also can anyone give me a rough idea of price and what i need,oh and if anyone could supply these bits.

Please buy an ex-plod and don't opps up another perfectly good 3.2 elite!  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

Wouldent buy an ex-police,a mate of mine has had two of them now,and both been a bag of nails(no offence to anyone on here who has one).

explod cars are test exempt hence the poor condition of most of them!

anyway ive got a manual retail spec mv6 ;D just get a pedalbox & manual flywheel box etc and convert your 3.2 get 3.0 parts the 2.5 has a smaller clutch

would be a fairly straightforward ish job

i reckon if your prepared to go the DIY route then ~£400 if you want a new clutch :y even less if you can get a used clutchkit

i assumea different brake master cylinder is required? to tun the slave cylinder

No just cut the sealed end off the tab and connect the pipe :y

oh that would make things alot more easier

im sure the 3.2 is just a bored out 3.0 so the bellhousing will be the same so 3.0 transmission bits in theory will work

a manual 3.0 is fun! a manual 3.2 will be even more fun!

just checked on DMF's the 2.5 is again different so i would stick to 3.0 bits

Are you sure they're exempt from MOT?  Because on my ex-plod, it came with 2 MOT Certs - its first one that was done when it was 3yrs old, and the one that was done just before I purchased it.  No previous owners on log book, just the force I got it from...

Depends on the forces' public indemnity insurance policy. Some of the larger forces insurers demand an MOT, smaller forces can get away with it :y
