changed hbv, but.......
« on: 08 May 2009, 18:25:00 »

my lovely little lady treated me to a new hbv in these times of unempluyment for me

anyway, i took off the plenumn and changed me hbv, ha easy!, not.

put the plenumn all back together, i think, started the engine and the idle shot up to 2000 rpm, the usual most is 1500 rpm? after a few mins i manully pushed the throttle linkage back down and now it seems fine

any one have any ideas what happened as im slightly worried :-[ :-[ :-[

im waiting for the engine to cool so i can cold start it again, as it happens the throttle cable was in a different location to normal and i did put back in its usual position.

fingers crossed, and all other crossables :D ;) :y
