getting ready for 2nd try fixing these projectors using the parts from old lights got some black gutter sealer is it best to strip off all the old sealer and start again or can i leave it on? as it bloody awful messy shite

big lumps removed then give it a good hairdrying to warm it up before fit the 2 parts back together.

then reseal with a bit of bathroom sealant ;) before fitting rubber gasket over the top :y

had a chance today to try and sort these buggers out, ended up making some adjusters and all was fine until i lightly dusted a finger print from reflector and the shiny surface popped off aswell which i knew would happen but was soooo careful! anyway at least i can make an adjuster now and even thinking about going into production! soon as i found out the threads were 3/16 i remembered i had a tap in that size and away we go. Not fitting the bloody things now so would be nice if they went to a good home cheers for all the help :y
