Help, I have just bought a new aftermarket dis pack for my V reg 3.0 V6 Elite and have placed the HT leads as per the listing. Does anyone have a correct firing / wiring sequence so that i can double check.

Car feels like its missing one cylinder and pops and farts when driving.

Just replaced both CATS, HT leads, Plugs. Has dealer do a Tech 2 and it threw up that 3 & 5 wernt working. Old dis pack was corroded at the 4 & 1 end. There was oil in the left bank spark plug hole sand this has been rectified. Right bank was dry.

Loosing patience now!

Have you tryed looking in the how too section mate not sure of the sequence myself sorry not much help if i find anything out will post it up for you i'm gonna be working on mine today and friday so i will try and get a pic up if you like???

Thanks everyone, found out the probelm, shouldn't have bought cheap HT leads, found that one had broken at the right angle part.

Oil in plug holes is likely to be caused by leaking cam cover gaskets. Have you checked for oil again since you removed it from the holes?

If you're not sure when the gaskets were last done it might be worth replacing them yourself, just in case.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.
