ROMANO LPG service
« on: 09 May 2009, 11:31:01 »

Can anybody recommend the best place to have my ROMANO LPG system serviced in or near Redditch Worcestershire?
Or has anybody got set-up instructions for the Romano LPG system for a 2.6 V6.

I have Romano System N

What needs doing?

Be very careful there is a Romano agent I do not trust in Worcestershire.

Should be DIYable

If not a trip to Newport would be worth undertaking to the importers Auto Gas World Wide.

Did you setup your own LPG system?
I have the software for the Romano N system, but no instructions.

I reset up a used system, and tweaked all the values.

You really just need to monitor the Lambdas and adjust the values to get them right, someone like Kevin could do this but it helps if you have used Romano before - I did mine by dead reckoning, tweaked it until it ran properly.

Martin
Where did you fit your gas injectors, as mine have been fitted to the plenum (upper induction manifold) not the lower induction manifold. Will this make a difference ?
I have owned this Omega for the last 8 months and the gas system was fitted when I bought it.

Are they on little pipes into the plenum - if so common with Romano, does work but looks messy

They are OK but not the best place, works well enough but looks messy.

Do you have a certificate for it?

Where was it converted?
