not exactly sure of its precise purpose but will affect the multirams and therefore performance.

your 2.5 manual should not be sluggish at all - quick enough in most situations IMO

vacuum tank .......... thats the bugger  :y

two pipes ............ both going round the back of the engine

what affect does getting the two mixed up ?

before the two pipes was just conected together  ( bypassing the tank )

i have held open the throttle and the front ram changes at high ish revs so thats seems to work  :y

starting to wonder if the estate was abused before i got it  :-/

estate seems not as quick as the saloon did and the estates done less miles !!

yeh i know im a pain in the arse but this is bugging me  >:(

be interested to know what use the tank has  :y

The vac tank is required so there is still a vac supply to the multirams when on full throttle

If the wrong way round (and assuming the internal one way valve works) then you will get no multiram actuation at all
