hi all is it easy to change the alternator on these omegas ond also the rocker gasket i think oil is coming from rocker cover down on to alternator (thats doing it no favours) also its the wrong battery on it i need a 065 code cheers

Is the alternator noisey?

If so, its not to hard a job to change the bearings

no dont think so battery light not on a slight glow at night when lights on but dont go dim but with slight oil leak from rocker cover i was told its going on the alternator and i have a cr** battery also 063 code i need a 065 i was told by mr rac man low amp due to oil going on alternator but i cant see that? the battery light would be on all the time if alternator wont it?  :y :y

I`d say the regulator is on it`s way out. Easy enough to do and costs about £12 :)

might sound stupid but does the alternator still need to be taken off to do this  :y
