why do i have 'oil lack' warning?

just recentley i have been having the oil lack waring coming up on my mid :-/

can anyone help or explain please?

oh i suppose it would help to know that i checked the oil level every time and it is perfectly level at mid point and has been since i changed the oil and filter exactly 3k ago and im going to change it again at the weekend :y

That is why mate if your oil is at mid point. get it slightly higher up the dipstick and you will find the oil lack check will go off :y

seems to happen more on hot days, normally oil level before oil lack though  :-/

Why not fill it to max on dip stick - its not that expensive  :P

If its oil check that happens at half way point...which is why...if oil lack then probably oil sensor failing if oil levels ok

Keep it above 3/4 to avoid the warning :)
