Are you thinking of a DIY tint on your Mig?

DON'T

I thought that it would be worth a shot first as I like to turn my hand to that sort of task.

I managed to get the rear fixed 3/4 window done to a satisfactory standard thinking that if I could do that then the sliding glass would be a doddle!

3 attempts later and a few South Wales monsoons to boot I gave up due to thge rain and dark.

Plus point is that it peels off really easily.

So, I phoned a recommended tinter in Newport and get it booked in. I hear a deep breath and a suck through teeth..."They are one of the hardest cars to do those Omegas!" Something to do with some pins or clips on the rear sliging windows?

Oh well, I don't have any more weekends to waste and I want it to look decent. Will post the finished article on at the weekend.

What I did find out is that 35% is really a little too light to negate the need for the sucker sun mesh for i260 jr in the back so have opted for 20%. If it wern't for this I would probably stick to the 35% (no pun intended there!).

Hope this helps guide the brave / foolhardy.
