Cabin Heater

wonder if anyone has had the following problem and how they have corrected it....if not has anyone got any ideas.

my cabin heater works fine on all speads and temps but we are unable to change where it blows out turning the knob does nowt. :( at the mo it just blows out onto the windows.

please advise i cant stand the winging from the hubby anymore! >:(

I wonder if the vacuum feed has failed? Little reservoir under the scuttle by the cabin air filter and fed from a T piece on the brake servo pipe. Other end goes into the bulkhead by the heater hoses, and another vacuum pipe comes out here to feed the HBV.

As a first check, make sure they're all intact. A gunson Lo-gauge is handy to check for vacuum.
