Reffiting cambelt.
« on: 27 July 2009, 20:01:55 »

Is it ok to refit the cambelt after 3.5k miles, while changing lifters? :-/

Assuming that it has to go on in the same direction and the setting on the tensioner has to be changed for used? :y

And yes, I know for a fact it has only done 3.5k because I done it :)

And no, I'm not a sheep ::)

just make sure that you set the tensioner to the used setting rather than the full tension as you did for the new belt.
