Opening boot with no in-car electrics!
« on: 03 August 2009, 17:42:59 »

OK so I made a bit of a silly mistake, didn't pop the boot before I started taking the electrics out of the Omega.

Is there anyway to pop the boot? I'm thinking cut into the wires and stick a 12v supply to them, question is, which wires?

If you feel this shouldn't be posted in a public forum, please pm me.

Thanks Dave

If you have a facelift saloon like mine, drop the back seats, climb into the boot, and on the underside of the boot lid is a 'T' shaped handle in a small recess.  Pull it and your boot should open without any power involved. ;) ;)

As Lizzie says, there is a internal handle on the passengerside  ;)
