SUNROOF DRAIN HOLES

Are the drain plug holes a strage bits of piping or is there like an l shape in there as i got something down the hole but it was rock soild and couldnt do nothing with it.Can anyone help

It's a soft(ish) tube about 1/2" diameter. On my old MK2 cav that got blocked up regularly so I used to use the PVC covered springy stuff you hang your net curtains off. Don't push too hard though or you'll pop the pipe off the corner of the sunroof. I found that out the hard way when the rear passenger footwell filled with water everytime it rained! I found the bottoms of the tube and cleared them upwards from then on :y
