Leaking gearbox selector
« on: 10 August 2009, 10:35:42 »

Hey campers, can anyone tell me if they have heard or know if the gearbox selector seal can leak transmission fluid?

I changed my crank sensor yesterday and noticed that the gearbox sump was covered with transmission fluid which I traced to where the gearbox selector enters the transmission, do these things normally go or am I just out of luck?

Thanks

there is an oil seal that lives behind there, wouldnt think its too bad to do, just drop the switch & selector off & dig it out, the new one will just push in :y
