help gloss paint

hi
got a problem i was following a van and it was leaking paint out of the back.
when i got home found it was gloss paint and want to clean it off but dont want to damage my paint work
any ideas what to use??????

I once got some on my doors that had been spilt on the road i used autoglym tar remover or i suppose white spirit would do the same job
