Just bare in mind there's a £20,000 fine for knowingly releasing refrigeration gas to the atmosphere.
I have a problem with my a/c system.  I suspect it's a compressor issue as I had it pressure checked and it was fully charged.
I asked the techie doing the check about the fine, as I thought it was £30k, but it's actually £20k.

Jesus! we are only talking about  FRACTION OF A SECONDS gas release, thats hardly going to damage the planet.

Just passing on what I was advised by an aircon techie.
He said the same about being able to do a quick check that way, which is how we got onto the subject of the fine. His words were "F.F.S don't get caught !!". 
Apparently with all this Global Warming malarky they are well up for making an example of anyone breaking eco laws.
