I have to fit a set of reversing sensors to my Facelift estate.
Couple of questions.
There's a how to in the Maintenance section for the pre facelift saloon and I'm sure I seen some photos of a FL est. installation years ago on here but I wondered if there was the same amount of space between the bumper and the metal valance  on the FL estate.
Anybody got a preferred make /supplier /E bay ? I fitted a set on my van and although they work when approaching a genuine obstacle OK they have a tendency to sound off when there is nothing behind and no amount of adjustment has cured it.

all the sensors i have encountered give the odd bleep. Usually weeds or foliage of some sort, or reversing down a slope onto flat ground. Afaict the vx ones (as on mine) seem better as rain and muck does not seen to bother them. Lexus and Bmw both seem very sensative. I would try to stick with vx of the correct or nearest vintage for your car if poss.

 I Think The Boy has an after market set on his, didnt get the make though.

I think we all know they are handy in i tight spot, like air con, once owned you see the benefit.

Agreed! plus the driver's, passenger & rear view mirrors!!



Besides .... the Vauxhall/after market fit reverse sensors don't look pretty! AIMHO!
