You say you cleaned the filter, did you also remove any gunge from the pot. If not, you may well have a layer of gungy diesel silt that is being sucked up and blocking the filter gauze again.

Right, Thanks TB but yes I have tried to paperclip, and yes Turk, I cleaned out the pot too. I am sure the fuel lines are clear now, but may  put the airline on them just to make sure.
