2002 2.2 CD auto
« on: 18 October 2009, 16:40:34 »

Hi guys, 2 questions for you Omega boffins.

1, does the power steering fluid for the 2.2 need to be Vauxhall's own or will an equivalent Dexron product do?

2, there appears to be no dipstick for the Auto transmission fluid level. I'm used to having this on my previous (Japanese) autos. Is this the case and is it checked from underneath by a filler/level plug?

Thanks for your help

1) Yes, Dextron is fine

2) Correct there is no dip stick, engine running, on a level surface, take out the drain plug, fluid should be level with the bottom of the plug
