2.5 V6 SOUNDING LIKE NOT RUNNING ON ALL CYLINDERS
« on: 19 October 2009, 13:20:06 »

Car was running very smooth and starts first turn of the key . It still does start straight off the one turn but has started to sound like its only firing on 5 cylinders or something ,it seem to clear up once I got on the dual carriageway and was ok for the rest of the day .
but the next day it happened again but now its not clearing ,only had the car about 3 weeks so hoping its nothing too big ,read a few times about the coil but seems a bit of a pig to get at ,I was told it had been serviced so can only guess the plugs are good .
on one of the ht leads  i can see that the outer casing of the plug to the sparl plug is cracked.
May have to see if Darth Loo-knee can take a look as hes only a couple of miles away .but if I can fix with out bothering him .

Try the cheap and easy fix first. Replace the damaged lead and hope that's the problem

OK had Darth Loo-knee (Daz) take a look at it and would like to thank him for his time, found a few possible itens but looking more like electrical plus, leads, possibe disy ,book in with him a on week monday.
Going to get the rocker gaskets replaced as well so cut out the possibility of that being a prob with the oil.
Also found that the multiram isnt connected right so that wont be working.
Anyway thanks again Daz see you a week monday.
