Which Diff???
« on: 03 November 2009, 10:25:16 »

Right, going to replace the noisy diff on my 1999 2.0 estate.
I need to know what others will fit,got chance of one out of a 2002 td estate.
Is there a difference between models, years, etc,i expect auto to be geared different but need to know what options are.
Thanks in advance  :y

they all all interchangable, but ratios are different. TD one will fit, but it will have a lower ratio.

I think the TD ratio will be painful on a 4 pot so I'd give that one a miss.

This might give you an idea which ones will be the same. Only covers facelift models, unfortunately. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1163895469
