retro fitting rear blind
« on: 10 November 2009, 01:05:03 »

thinking about adding a rear blind to my Elite saloon.

Anyone know whats involved? Are they reliable, or more agro than their worth?
Is the loom in place? Do i have to add one in or is it plug and play? And do i have to cut the parcel shelf or do i need to swap mine for the correct one?

Car has bose shelf in the boot if that makes any odds, and the interior is baige but i guess they are best in black/dark grey reguardless....

Cheers

Chris. :-)

I will be fitting one in the next week or two. I've just ordered the switch which was just over £10 and i'm hoping all the rest of the other gubbins is there but haven't looked yet.

Brilliant toy, no trouble fitting, plug & play, never had a problem, my loom was already there in my CDX Facelift. I couldn't find a switch so I converted a prefacelift one with a blank. My blind came with the parcel shelf but I suppose you could cut a slot, easier to replace the lot though. I suppose they look best matching the interior, so a beige one is what you want. Go for it.
