Paperclip test - fault code 73
« on: 15 November 2009, 22:52:14 »

I've just done the paperclip test and I think it has come up with:
"73 - Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage Low"
What does this mean? What needs changing and how much will it cost? I intend to do the work myself

Thanks

I'd get someone to reset it and see if it comes back.

If you have no symptoms of rough running or tendancy to stall I'd tend to ignore it.

Othewise clean plug and socket contacts with contact cleaner or consider replacing MAF sensor.

It does seem to run a little rough at low revs - this seems to be worse when the engine light it on.

I'm more used to working on a Vauxhall Viva so all these electrics confuse me! :P
