INTERMITTANT NON START

is this the beginning of the end of my crankshaft sensor. went out in car last night came home left it outside cos some numpty parked across the drive went to move it to bring it in non start went in again came back out to move to a safer place. It started 1st time. i noticed a couple of times it started and stalled straight away but restarted easily again. any advice greatfully accepted and is there a guide on replacing the sensor. i did try pedal trick but i dont think i got it right as no responce on lights. oh and no eml lights on exept when ign is turned on.

hows it running the rest of the time?

fuel / air filters in good condition?

decent amount of petrol in the tank..

runs well up until this prob last night. have not checked filters yet need to probably do a service not had it long but oil was very clean when checked.
