tractor g/box and chipping

I know that the ar28 is no good for chipping but my tractor has a ar25 box fitted acording to the plate on the g/box.
would I still need to swap the box for a ar35 :question
mines on a x plate

AFAIK the only gearboxes fitted to Omegas were
R25/R28 manual boxes
and
AR25/AR35 autoboxes

The AR25 is the one that definitely cannot cope. Not sure about the R25 or R28 :-/

as above, Omega never had AR28 fitted, only AR25/AR35

There was an R28 manual, which is fine for chipping

You'll definately need to fit an AR35 'box BEFORE chipping.
The AR25 will literally suffer from melt-down very, very soon!

Both manual boxes will cope with chipping.
