Greetings and salutations,

I have tried to search, but without success. I have an Opel Omega B 2.5 V6 Estate and I have found that my fuel

pipe (the one connected to fuel pump which is returning fuel back) is leaking. From fuel pump opening I cannot

access the hole, is there any way to change this pipe without taking away tank, or going under the car? I havenīt

any possbility to lift it now

if it is same as mine then you will need to drop the tank, as there is a metal clip ont he pipe that could be the problem, somtimes you can get to it by removing the the plate in the back, lift the carpet on right side of boot cross head screw driver will remove it and a flat hed screw driver to pop it off, should see the pipes, mine hs a metal cover over the pipes but you may be lucky and not have it, change the clip. should be easy to do.

thanks for the answer. When I lift carpet and unscrew that metal plate, I can see fuel pump and 2 pipes. The one which is returning fuel back has little hole in it. I can take off the metal clip, but is it possible to take it from the other end? I need to take it out to replace the pipe, or is it possible to seal it somehow? I can cut a hole to reserve wheel cover if neccesary to access the leak, but I donīt know how to seal it...

I think the fuel line is one piece from the tank to the engine bay. Plastic lines can be repaired by cutting out the damaged section, inserting metal sleeves into the ends of the two plastic sections and then joining the two using a section of rubber hose and 2 fuel line clips.

IIRC, you can get repair kits containing these components. You will have to do it from underneath, though.

That was second thing I was afraid of. But thanks a lot for answer, I will try to repair it

if it is the same as mine you need a tool to take the pipe apart, there is a joint half way down from engine, you need to pop the cover off it and then use the tool to pull them apart, or you could just get some fuel pipe 8mm cut off the hole in pipe and re-join with some jubilees.
