Fuel leak
« on: 20 December 2009, 16:26:59 »

There are two rubber pipes on the drivers side of the plenum. I noticed today that one of them is dripping and then found it was petrol! Its dripping right above the HT leads. The second pipe sprayed fuel everywhere when I pressed it in towards the plenum - Is this right? I've patched the leak up as I have a 100+ mile journey tomorrow but I'll have to look in to it properly

Wouldn't drive it like that mate.  Fuel onto hot exhausts has a habit of catching fire!

Might be worth checking that the unions where the pipe meets the fuel rail under the plenum are tight, but if not that, it needs sorting, as said.
