Cam Sensor location

Sorry to be a pain but where is a cam sensor located on my 2.2 CD. A wee picture would be a great help as am not very up to date on miggys

Top of your engine, at the front edge of the ecotec strip. Lift it slightly at the back and slide it towards the windscreen then lift it off. The cam sensor is the plug right at the front of the engine under the strip.

To remove it, take the 2 x 10mm nuts off the cable tray at the front of the engine, then the 4 bolts holding the cambelt cover on and remove. Then just loosen the 1 torx bolt holding the cam sensor in place, gently pull the cable upwards and it'll slide out. Unplug the old one, plug the new one in and reverse the above :y
