Outside Temp Sensor Effects
« on: 15 January 2010, 13:22:29 »

Reading Jimbobs post on temp sensor affecting climate, wonder if mine is being faulty, temp readout is accurate (well figures look roughly right)

But after a long blast on the motorway with the heat on (say 24 on climate) I slow down on the m25, and i always tend to feel colder, not as much air is being pumped out, if i wack it on HI and set fans to face, still not a lot, takes a while (10 mins or so!) before i starts pumping out at full speed again.

Dogey temp sensor? Tired Pollen filter maybe? It does need changing....

your pollen filter does have an effect, as you have the air quality sensor...
could be worth a freshen up for the sake of £15.

there is also a tech2 calibrate option to ensure internal and outside sensor's register the same (iirc car open for an hour to regulate temp, then reset on tech2)

few climate settings you could play with on tech2 being so close to one.
