Switch ign. on. One of the lights will resemble an engine block (orange). Does it flash when you try and start the car :question

Right, assuming you have a "horseshoe" type key. Remove the blade from the fob and check that the transponder chip is still in place. You can see the chip in this pic

Have you had the key apart since the last time you started your car, may have fallen out. Have you a spare key with chip. Without that chip it`ll never start and it means a trip to VX for Carpass with key and immobiliser codes recorded.
