Sump try and dipstick help
« on: 05 February 2010, 17:44:35 »

Hi all!my dipstick is leaking where it goes into the sump and putting oil everywhere have drained some out for now to help but is there a way of fixing it,the sump tray was welded before I got it I guess someone grounded the car so to fix that and dipstick is it worth changing the whole tray and is it possible to?it also constantly says oil lack which I believe is due to the wire being broken in the sump so would be nice to that to!does anyone have a new tray or where do I get one from?thanks all :P

there is an rubber O-ring on the dip stick, if you change that should stop leaking from there. :y
