HID Leveling on GID
« on: 23 February 2010, 11:04:11 »

On start up i get the highlight leveling warning coming up for the 1st 2 seconds then goes away. if the car is driven some time and then resarted no warning.

Where would the best place to start looking .Have checked the 2 leveing sensors unpluged and repluged.

Thanks

I would make sure all the sensors are still connected by their link rods to the suspension components front and back and perhaps remove the connectors and give them a squirt of switch cleaner before reassembling.

To go much further you'd need to get it to a tech 2 and see what the system is complaining about IMHO.

Could be a motor a little sticky when cold perhaps?

Good point kevin as this has kicked in over the past few months with the cold ....summer was fine. Is there a best way to get to the motor. Will give the connectors a check over. :y
