Reverse on a manual gearbox

I want to know where reverse is on the Omega manual box (pre-facelift if that makes any difference)?

Up/left or down/right?

on a facelift its down right dont think they be any difference

I have a N reg 2.0 16V gls. and itstowards the driver and back, as if you were putting it in 6 gear.
