swapping recaros

Hi my 97 elite TD has leather recaros, can I swap them into my 99 with side airbags? I'm 6'5" and the standard seats put my head in the roof.

Do the Recaro's have side airbags, if so then yes they'll fit and won't leave you airbag light on :y

No they don't have bags. The seats in the 99 do!

your 97 Recaro Leather does not have Side Air Bags as you correctly stated, Your 99 Car does so the Air Bag monitor will expect to see them, so will your Insurance Company in case of an accident.

Best to hang on for some Mini Face, Facelift Recaro's.  :y

the seats will fit you just need a tech 2 to turn the air bag lite off.
