STOP PRESS>>>>>>>

Am reliably informed by a good well educated buddy that there is an easier fix.........
He apparently solders some resistors across the lambda sensor wires to "fool" the ECU all is well, thus allowing the EML light to be extinguished.

Will find out resistor values!!

i have had cars come in stock with no eml lights in the dash, on tech 2 shown 0430, assume someone thought bulb removal was cheaper and easier than pissing aboout with the welder, and seeing as its not a problem worth worrying about fair enough, but how do you see the other faults as they occur,   fools, why did they take the bulb out!

Hmm, not sure exactly how the lambda readings are used by the ECU, But im guessing a fixed resistance, plus normal readings could well affect the cars running and fuel consumption.
