Interior Light & ECC starts at 23c Help pls
« on: 13 May 2010, 21:58:05 »

Hi
I resently bought a Omega -96, and the interior light aint working, (spots working) It lights up when I unlock the car, but not when I open the door, or pull out the light switch.
The lights in the doors works tho, and the bulp get power since it works when I unlock the car.
So anyone have an idea? I plan to change the lightswitch to see if that could be the fault. or could it be the delay thing?
Anyone pls help me, so dark here in sweden at nights, hardly see anything and the kids dont like it like this.
some usefull info, sunroof, 2 spotlights, spanish car,

My ecc works swell, but now when it's not so hot outside I use the eco mode, but now and then it goes back to auto, after I start the car, not always, and change the temp to 23c, is there a way to reset?

Int Light.  Check the switch on the A pillar of the drivers door.

Edited to add:  Puddle lights on the doors are on a separate circuit to the interior lights.

ECC - Press and hold Off & Auto for several seconds (6 or 7 IIRC) or until you hear the motors behind the dash resetting.
